Daily Nourishment

I do not have a routine schedule of eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a specific time each day.

I eat whenever I get hungry and when I get a particular taste for something.

Yesterday, I ate some peanuts then I had hot cereal.

I boiled oat bran in organic unsweetened soymilk.

My hot cereal came out so creamy and delicious.

I drank a cup of soymilk on the side.

I am going to have another bowl of oat bran today with soymilk.

Tea Time

I have been drinking hot cups of herbal tea without sugar daily. I stay away from refined sugar as much as possible.

My bronchitis that was in the process of healing started right back up a week ago after it had begun to clear.

I am in the process of healing again, resting, and nurturing my body with natural remedies.

Herbal teas are high in antioxidants and boost the immune system.

I can drink as much as I want without the excess or overload of caffeine as herbal tea does not contain any at all.

Non Gmo Vegan Tortilla

Yesterday was a beautiful day in New York it was about 78 degrees and I did some food shopping and while I was at the market I picked up a big bag of my favorite organic non gmo vegan white corn tortilla chips that are made with the Ingredients: Organic white corn, expeller pressed oleic safflower and/or sunflower oil, sea salt.

I also like the yellow corn tortilla chips.

Whatever I buy I make sure that it is non gmo and befitting to my dietary preferences as I’ve always been particular about what I eat as a vegetarian and individual that is into a very healthy lifestyle even my moderate intake of certain snacks have to be up to par!

To me they are a much better alternative to the average greasy corn chips on the market and I genuinely like the taste and the crunch without all of that excessive oil these are on the dry side and I like it.

Non Gmo Vegan Treats

I consistently read the ingredients to everything that I buy I’ve done this ever since I was a youngster since I eat healthy and vegetarian and as I get older I have been even more particular as to what I eat it is just a natural propensity and a spiritual harmony within myself.

I mostly do my own fresh cooking with vegetables, grains and starches as I love my rice, breads and pasta but every once in a while just like everyone else I get tired of cooking, especially when I’ve been working all day I just want to eat quick, chill out, then get winks of sleep.

When I come across new and appealing items to heat up in the oven or to snack on I give it a try and a while ago I purchased these in my opinion good tasting veggie onion rings and broccoli fries.

The ingredients are Potatoes, Broccoli, White Beans, Rice Flour, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Water, Potato Starch, Corn Starch. Contains less than %2 of: Sea Salt, Tapioca Starch, Locust Bean Gum, Garlic, Xanthan Gum, Tapioca Dextrin for the fries.

Cauliflower, Cooked Navy Beans, Onions, Rice Flour, Expeller Pressed Non-GMO Canola Oil, Yellow Corn Flour, Water, Corn Starch, Rice Starch, Modified Corn Starch, Sugar, Salt, Blackstrap Molasses, Dextrose, Yeast, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Alginate, Low Sodium Sea Salt (Natural Sea Salt, Magnesium, Trace Minerals), Dried Garlic, Spice Extractives (Including Paprika), Citric Acid for the rings and I enjoyed them.

I love onion rings and french fries!

I rarely eat sweets and when I do it also has to be natural or organic and I had found these delicious wheat coated cinnamon apple fig bars that I couldn’t stop eating (so yummy, yummy!).

All of these are vegan certified non gmo products.

Cheese

cheese and wineIt has indeed been a while since I’ve consumed any straight up dairy products such as milk, cheese and butter although there may have once in a while been a product that I’ve eaten that may have included a small ingredient or two that I had carefully examined and that didn’t hurt to indulge within.

It is alright from time to time depending on how the consistency is derived and manufactured, however, I strictly do not any longer since within a little over two years now drink the fluids of cows milk. I am fascinated with soy milk.

I also hadn’t eaten any cheese within the past entire two years it wasn’t until January of this year that I helped myself to two slices of a tasty cheesy pizza other than that I’ve been dairy free. I do not even remember the last time that I’ve cooked or ate with butter.

I have found a very good brand of cheese that does not contain any animal rennet but I’d really prefer to try a non dairy product such as “GO Veggie” cheese alternatives before I actually even think to go back to ordinary cheese simply because I have not come into contact with a more better or healthier option that is more suitable to me and my taste.

The Go Veggie brand has quite a few variety and selection of cheeses including Parmesan, Swiss, Mozzarella, American, Cheddar, White cheddar, Cream cheese and a few more.

cheeseI’ll look for it at one of my local supermarkets and maybe test it out, according to the zip code that I entered within the “Where To Buy” section that is represented on their website quite a few of my nearby groceries do supposedly carry the item.

I have found in the past though that the information on websites are not always accurate as far as to what store may actually have the item within stock. It is absolutely nothing that I will fret about or even drive myself crazy with it is not a life or death situation for me it is just a preference.

Pure Rinse

pure fruit drinksFreshly peeled firm bananas are so tasty and produce a high volume of nutritious potassium. On some days I can eat an entire bunch of them as they come five in a bag, “Dole” is my favorite brand.

I’d love a pure and natural cool banana drink the only negative thing about that idea is fresh bananas yield no juice. In order to get that sweet rich banana texture and flavor one would have to chop and mush up the fruit with a fork or blenderize and combine those bananas with another beverage or consistency.

Every banana drink or mix that I’ve ever come across upon the market was always artificially flavored. Not to fret though, there are plenty of other delicious fruit that are able to be turned directly into satisfyingly healthy addictive drinks.

During the early 1990’s I came upon the “Juiceman” watching those infomercials that came on around the wee hours of the night and not so long after I went and purchased my own “Hamilton Beach” brand and tried that famous fresh carrot juice and it was well worth all of the hype at that time.

apple and orange juiceI enjoyed a variety of juiced fresh fruits and vegetables, however, my days at juicing was very short-lived back then due to the fact that meticulously cleaning the blade of the juicer and the remaining contents left over served as a very tiresome inconvenience.

Nevertheless, one cannot deny the pleasures of consuming the health benefits of a freshly designed drink along with it’s reinvigorating taste and cleansing effects because that is all that our bodies do anyhow, and that is extract and absorb the liquid matter from the things that we internalize while we excrete the rest.

Replenishment

fruit and vegetableI promote and am extremely fond of particular fruits and vegetables, and not only do many of them taste real good they are so very nutritious for us to regularly consume.

They are all excellent for the digestive tract/system and aide in natural healing, cleansing and proper bowel elimination.

My grandmother use to plant and grow her own vegetables in our backyard years ago during the eighties when I was a little girl. When the crops were ripe and fit to eat I’d go out and pick then gather up the extra large healthy sized cucumbers, tomatoes and green peppers.

My grandmother also grew cabbage and some other type of vegetables on our property I have nothing but lovely memories of a childhood experience with plant food. I was not the sort of kid that complained or gave their parent a hard time about eating their vegetables at mealtime.

My dog and I use to sit up and eat cold fresh raw carrots together she’d hold the stalk between her paws and chop away. In addition she ate fresh apples, grapes, raisins, seeds and even on occasion the grass that had grown in the front yard.

To some, many kinds of vegetables are not pleasant within flavor and that is true but sometimes it is in the way a dish is seasoned and prepared, because I did not like yellow squash though I had loved the green variety as I had a delicious zucchini and rice mixed platter dazzled with spices once, until I tasted a cousin’s version of the vegetable. From then on I had seen the yellow squash in an entirely different light, a yummy one!

I had eaten canned pineapples since childhood on up yet when I had become a teen I had my very first carves into a fresh one and the flavor was both tart and sweet depending on the variation of how juicy or dry the fruit was.  Afterward, I’d continuously buy fresh pineapples as it had become my favorite fruit out of all the other variety of great fleshy edibles.

Fruit and vegetablesFruits and vegetables also taste good mixed together within a meal whether hot or cold.

I also love sunflower seeds and certain types of nuts but I never cared for almonds, and I do not enjoy seeds or nuts within any food preparation except for sesame seeds on bread or butter pecans within ice cream otherwise I prefer those bits in separate form.

Vegetarian Meals That Are Delicious/The Life Of A Vegetarian Is Not A Flavorless One

Living The Life Of A Vegetarian

Splash

cool waterI absolutely love water as it helps to purify us along with soap as well as nourish and sooth the body from the inside and out.

I prefer to take showers; however, a bath or a firm and heavy sprinkling are both very therapeutic and rejuvenating to the overall well-being and to the senses.

I cannot at all understand people who do not like to wash themselves on a regular basis, those types of individuals who can go for weeks to months without a proper rinse or soak. To me, that kind of behavior is indeed a form of mental illness aside from utter/sheer nastiness.

A thorough wash produces the mind and body with good stimulation and a fresh invigoration even enabling one to get a better nights rest and relaxation.

One just feels better altogether.

When the body is dehydrated water is one of the best internal liquid solutions as the sugars within juices sometimes initiate further thirst. Water cleanses and keeps the kidneys healthy as well as flush out the other toxins and impurities that enter then travel within.

water with limeWater is also an excellent fuel that gives energy to spiritual capacity and manifestation in all forms and aspects.

The essential and beneficial is just as vital as the oxygen that we all breathe, water is life sustaining and we cannot live or do without it in any way possible, and I would not want to.

Up In Age People And Their Hygiene

A Hearty Generation Of Quality

flavored rice and chickenThrough out my family’s generations and while I was growing up we were all well-bred and fell fed. We weren’t filthy rich people but we always had and seldom went without. I have family members that had and that still have their own businesses.

My mother’s grandparents on her mother’s side of the family made (farmed and manufactured) and sold their own products down in their native hometown of Virginia when she was a little girl. Their items ranged from food to soap. Her grandfather and grandmother worked together while her uncles pitched in to gather within their profession. My mother’s aunts did not join in the trade altogether.

chickenOne thing that consistently traveled down unto our legacy aside from the many other good circumstances and qualities were our sense of immediate priorities. Along with shelter and convenience, of course, came our food. We were brought up on value and to always have nourishment and maintain sanitary practices.

As I am an “eater” yet nowhere near a “glutton” I have naturally followed in accordance to how I was raised in that fashion.

I take care of my constitution in-taking mainly vegetable proteins and very little animal protein (I only eat poultry and seafood from time to time) as I mostly flourish on a vegetarian diet. Nevertheless, I thrive on tasty dishes as well as what is in correlation to my own internal system.

broccoli and shrimpOur family was knowledgeable of those particular sufficient old time home and herbal remedies that often treated or cured ailments. We often would analyze and recognize a diagnosis within our body before a doctor could. We knew what to do for minor onsets of illness or infection caused by stomach upset, weather changes, insect stings or bites, and so on.

Keeping ourselves clean, safe and healthy was key to our vitality and a good habit to maintain for a lifetime to come. As children we were instilled with the wholesomeness and significance of self love, self respect, independence and the ways of survival, it was just innately within our bloodline.

So my dignified generation of relatives and I had more than nutritious and quality foods to bite off of and chew up we ingested much depth.

Non Guilty Pleasures/The Joys Of Soy

assorted cookiesI am a great fan of being healthy and happy mentally, physically and spiritually. The simplest things can bring satisfaction to many individuals and I am no exception.

I am a good and responsible hard worker that enjoys the comforts of home and the scenery of travel and the outdoors when the modes are harmonious, and when I have the time available.

Compatibility with one’s surroundings at and during moments of task or pastime is very important because the type of energy that flows and generates around us can often affect our moods as well as our environment.

Sometimes particular days don’t seem “right’, they may seem strange or even dreary and sometimes it does not even look too right outside, especially up in the sky. Once in a while those factors put a damper on things.

soybeansI am in tune to all sorts of matter, however, these are occurrences even those that do not have extra sensory “radar” are able to sense and pick up on.

When the atmosphere is within agreement and universal disturbances are blocked out or inhibited I intertwine. Balance adorns any situation for the better, and to better be enjoyed.

So when I get the craves and the urge to indulge in “edible” sports I go for quality as usual and what goes along perfectly with my favorite delicious and addictive Denmark brand “royal dansk” selection variety cookie snacks is the equally delicious Silk brand “very vanilla” soy milk.

Oh, how I love great combinations of food and drink that add compliment to a lovely or ordinary morning, afternoon and evening.

I love soy milk so much better than regular cow milk and the product agrees with my system as it does not give me gas or any problems with digestion as I am lactose intolerant. I could drink soy milk all day long without a problem and the fact that soy is plant based brings even more contentment to me.

I still get my protein and calcium as well as within other forms of nutritious meals and supplements.

cerealSoy milk is very nice poured over cereal and frozen soy desserts (non dairy ice cream) to make delectable milk shakes and creative sundaes.

I have fun with specific foods as they are one of my essential delights.

Well-being Well-served

doughNot only does eating our best-loved meals bring to us satisfaction and contentment but the delight in preparing a favorite dish also creates a gratification.

My best-loved foods consist of starch and bread is one of them aside from rice and potatoes. I’ve made my own cornbread and biscuits before and it is fascinating and exciting to put in and doll up my own delicious inventions with artistic ingredients.

When one cultivates an experiment in the kitchen with zeal and anticipation once those spontaneous moods hit it can be rewarding, adding a new development to the menu of home cooking generates the inspiration toward future scrumptious projects.

biscuitsI am no top fan of preparing meals and I am no expert in the kitchen but I like and have to eat so I can make decent foods with good enough taste when I commit to it and just the little undertakings of this nature is a good exercise, and source that caters to a healthy state of well-being.

Vitality

orange juiceWe all need the proper fuel to aide within us the energy to perform our usual activities.

A lot of the ordinary things within lifestyle are cut down to a routine that fits into compliance to add further structure and, of course, we do need direct organization in regard to the many aspects that pertain to us in life. We do have to take out time to monitor ourselves and be in good health so that we may continue to go on with life at ease and pace.

Nutritional health instructors as well as doctors frequently set rules, standards or recommendations for all of us to follow when it comes to our daily food allowances and the effects on the value or the quality of our lives, and there is nothing really so awful about that yet it is not vital that I or anybody else personally go along with every suggestion that is raised in general.

I haven’t eaten breakfast steadily day to day since I was a kid and it is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

During my teenage years on up I just began to eat whenever I felt the need to (when I was hungry), no specific set time such as morning (breakfast) noon (lunch) and evening/night (dinner or supper) or a snack in between.

I never followed a schedule.

chowI do not even normally eat three times a day as we are supposed to because when I do consume the foods that I like and that I am prone to I may at periods just eat a large quantity of them. It all depends on my appetite and whether or not my stomach is satisfied for that portion of time.

One day I may eat more or less than on the next day, and so on, all according to how I feel and how my hunger goes, and decides.

There is no need for a timetable to regulate when I have a meal.

Variety also can serve as a factor in what type of foods that are desired at any particular time. I am not strict at all when it comes down to the categorical food groups.

In the morning sometimes I’ve often had pieces of chicken with rice while at night I’d have grits, farina, pancakes or a peanut butter sandwich, whichever could have suited my taste buds at that given moment.

As long as it is healthy why should it matter what kinds of foods are eaten within the day compared to the afternoon, evening and night?

To me, a great dinner can be pure and natural grape jelly spread out thinly on toasted or non toasted whole wheat bread, just as simple as that!

Sustenance

When one takes care of them self they feel better within them self and one of they best ways to maintain that sense of wellness is to continue to eat good and healthy.

I stay away from foods that make the body feel run down and tired.

What we eat can literally take a toll on our overall constitution and can significantly have an impact on our day to day vitality. Our bodies are our temples and the proper nutrition is important. Many illnesses can be prevented, cured or kept under control through a specific area of diet, purely by attentively examining what we internalize.

salmonAll of our minds and bodies are unique, of course, so every balanced regimen is definitely not a “one size fits all” sort of plan.

Individuals should do exactly what operates best according to their own desired tastes, and go with what is the most suitable in accordance within their own metabolism.

Cookie

cookie crunchMy favorite flavor is vanilla and french vanilla. My mother’s favorite was always chocolate.

I use to love and enjoy chocolate as a child but after a while it would make me sick with terrible stomach pain so the doctor advised me to stay away from it along with coca cola.

Certain chocolate desserts are often attractive to look at yet I do not at all desire to eat any of them. I haven’t messed with chocolate in over twenty years.

I do not like to eat junk I prefer foods that are healthy with a substantial amount of nutritional value. A lot of us get a taste for something sweet though once in a while and I just love those Royal Dansk Danish Cookie Selection.

snackI only see them available at Duane Reade so far.

I do not eat the butter ones and the selection does not contain any assorted chocolate variety.

The ingredients are suitable enough to me (they contain vanilla, coconut, oat flakes, palm kernel oil) and the texture of the cookies are just about right, not too hard. When I get the taste for them sometimes I can’t put them down.

I must say that the Denmark company where it is imported from has gotten cheap because as a child I remember these Dansk brands as having two piles of assorted rows, one that sat atop from the other, now there is only one row.

cookie treat

Chips

bag of chipsI love potatoes, I always have. French fries were one of my favorite foods, especially home fries fried firmly.

My favorite potato chips of all time that I like to snack on are the Classic Lay’s as they have a distinct taste compared to the other potato chip brands.

I like the Classic Lay’s in the blue bag even better as they are lightly salted.

Charles Chips use to also be a good brand I don’t know how they are now I haven’t ate one of them since childhood back in the eighties.

What I love so much about Lay’s as well as the taste is that they are made with just a few simple natural ingredients which are also responsible for giving it that distinct flavor.

Just the potatoes, sunflower, corn and/or canola oil, and salt.

That sunflower oil I know for a fact is what brings out most of that good distinct Classic Lay’s potato chip flavor and I can tell because when I use to cook my homemade fries in sunflower oil they would always come out tasting better compared to when I was cooking them in the other vegetable oils.

Customer service over at frito lay assured me that their company had no future plans of ever changing the Classic Lay’s ingredients and I was so glad.

I called them up once to inquire since on so many occasions consumers will phone up to companies with their own personal dissatisfaction regarding a particular product that may have been just fine to someone else then the next thing you know the product is either “improved” or “completely gone off the market”.

So unfair to the smaller percentage of people out there who may have enjoyed the specific product as it was. No need to tamper with an already good thing.

I found out though that they had discontinued the Lay’s Garden Tomato And Basil.

Soy

soy milkI’ve never had a problem with soy, when I fry my foods I cook them in soybean oil, sunflower, or canola.

Years ago back in 1991 or 1992 I had first come across silk soy milk for the very first time at my local supermarket. Since I was a vegan at the time back then who completely did not consume any type of dairy I was looking for a milk alternative or substitute.

So I purchased the vanilla flavored soy and gave it a try.

It had no kind of taste at all or should I say a very unpleasant flavor to my taste buds (It was literally disgusting). I let my mother try some of the milk and she didn’t like it either. My dog wouldn’t even touch it. I gave it to her because I didn’t want the rest of it to go to waste and because my dog was a big regular milk and ice cream lover.

Late last year or early this year I came upon silk soy milk again at my local area supermarket. So many times in the past since that first experience I would just notice the product up on the refrigerator shelves and keep on moving.

After so many years and times of passing it by and passing it up something came and hit me, telling me to give the silk soy milk another try once again.

“Years have gone by maybe the company has improved the product by now”, I had reasoned with my own logic. “It has been out on the market too long for it to still have that same dreadful old taste”.

plate of vanillaSo for the second time ever in my life I purchased another half-gallon vanilla flavored silk soy milk. And this time when I brought the beverage home I was not disappointed.

I was very much delighted.

Especially since I could never go back to drinking cows milk again, I am just so turned off by it nowadays more than ever, the smell of it is enough for me.

I even got my mother hooked on drinking silk soy milk (chocolate is her favorite very vanilla is mine). She was very hesitant at first but I had to convince her that the product had improved.

We even like the soy ice cream frozen dessert by the “so delicious” brand. I loved ice cream but I have not eaten dairy ice cream in two whole years straight now. And I will never go back to it.

We do not consume these soy products constantly, however, we do enjoy them on a now and again basis.

Before I purchase an item I always check out the ingredients regardless of how long I’ve been using the product. I had been drinking Silk soy milk for a while now and was disappointed when I noticed that they’d taken out the carrageenan and replaced it with gellan gum.

I immediately phoned up the silk/white wave company some months back and asked for an explanation and I was told that due to overwhelming consumer pressure in regards to carrageenan and it’s supposed dangerous and/or risk causing health effects it was removed away from the product.

Red Lobster Versus Home Cooking

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAYears ago, I use to pay frequent visits to Red Lobster.

I loved to sit in the dim lit atmosphere of the restaurant, whether I sat at a table amongst a crowd, or singly up at the bar catching a view outside the large picture window at Times Square located in Manhattan, New York.

I loved eating the cheddar bay biscuits as I awaited for my first order of chicken finger appetizers.

When the main course would come I’d indulge in the consumption of the scrumptious rice pilaf and jumbo butterfly shrimp that I would always continue to order.

Especially when Red Lobster had constantly ran that two dish meal for twenty dollars. I had taken advantage of what I ate there for that price.

My bill never went all the way over thirty dollars.

As a young person I loved to go out to enjoy the scenery every now and then. I still do.

However, I am not as enthusiastic about eating out at my certain restaurants as I use to be.

It was a stage that I eventually grew out of. And it transpired naturally as I progressed within my lifestyle.

We all tend to change a bit here and there.

What had got me to begin to think when it came to Red Lobster though-because Red Lobster was my number one top favorite restaurant once upon a time-was how I could come out much cheaper by making a purchase at my local grocer, to then go home and cook my own rice and shrimp dinners.

It was a fabulous idea of mine that had actually worked out for the better.

I bought the vegetarian suitable “Near East” brand of rice pilaf. And a box of Gorton’s jumbo butterfly shrimp.

The Gorton’s popcorn shrimp would do just as well as an alternative.

By the way, Gorton’s fish sticks and breaded and battered fish fillets are also delicious and to die for. I have eaten those seafood products for years and with much delight.

Any way, to add an extra bonus to my discovery my rice and seafood dishes had tasted extremely better. And they were more wholesome than compared to whatever products that Red Lobster had used then served.

I would also have portions of my dinner left over that I could graciously eat at a more later or convenient time. Red Lobster was stingy when it came to supplying generous amounts of food per servings to a plate.

Ever since then, I have not visited the restaurant on a regular basis.

Now when I do go it is only on occasion. Like if I get hungry while I am out and about and, there is a Red Lobster somewhere near around.

I rarely eat out at restaurants now, period.

I prefer to prepare my own foods at home. I believe that I come out much safer and healthier that way because I am the one who is doing the cooking.

I know exactly what is being put into what I eat and I know for sure that everything that I consume is sanitary.

What I Put On My Plate

stock-photo-14768251-shrimps-in-tomato-garlic-sauce-with-basil-flowersIt is vital in this day and age for us to take care of our health. In the inside as well as on the outside.

Many things that are made out on the market today are filled with hazardous chemical ingredients and artificial matter.

When I go shop for food I look for quality. I am very particular about what I purchase.

I constantly check the product labels, ensuring that what I eat is appropriate and in accordance to my specific diet.

I love to eat, however, I do not always like to cook.

So I often search for foods that are already prepared or that just have to be heated up inside of a toaster oven.

Healthy items such as bread, crackers, peanut butter, certain frozen foods, and so on.

I just keep them handy for those times when I get lazy or not in the mood for laboring over a stove.

I’ve been a vegetarian for exactly twenty-three years. I started out back when I was fourteen. I will turn thirty-eight this year in the month of may.

When I first began this particular lifestyle I was a strict and pure vegan.

I absolutely consumed no type of animal products. No dairy foods or beverages. No poultry. No seafood. No beef (red meat). No pork (the other white meat).

Just fruits, vegetables, grains, natural juices and water.

All of that changed during my late teens. I became a vegetarian who only refrained from eating beef and pork.

I do not eat any of the substances that are derived from those two animals.

stock-photo-18897078-meat-stills-schnitzel

I eat dairy once in a while. Not as often as I use to. I love all natural ice cream, though. I am more of a chicken, shrimp, and fish eater. I only like the whiting in particular.

I am crazy about any vegetarian dish that is complimented with a serving of rice.

Whatever it is that I consume it has to be both hearty and nutritious.

I do not eat at just anywhere or from just anyone. When I choose to dine out the restaurant has to administer elegance as well as quality.

My two favorite places to go eat at were Boston Market and Sbarro.

Years ago (at Sbarro), I’d eat the delicious tasting pasta dishes that did not contain any beef or pork such as baked Ziti, and a many of the other variety of foods that they had available, everyday during my meal when I was at work.

Sbarro is quite expensive, depending on how much food is placed and being weighed on a plate, however, the extra amount was well worth every penny that I had to spend.

They had so many good things to choose from. Salads, fruits, potatoes, rice, chicken dishes, and so on.

A Sbarro is nowhere near my vicinity as of now but I live right near a Boston Market.

I have ate at Boston Market for over a decade. The taste is distinct yet just as great as Sbarro without being as expensive.

I have indeed enjoyed quite a few other lovely establishments that catered to serving acceptable quality food.

Til now-and yet for always in the future-I will acquire to put nothing but exceptionalness up upon my plate.

My Customer Support At Keebler/Kellogg’s

file0002030550087

I like Keebler Town House crackers. As a vegetarian I am very particular about the certain things that I consume. I do not eat foods that contain any beef or pork derivatives.

When I am concerned about a product that I am not totally sure about I will call up the company to where the item is manufactured from.

So I phoned up the Keebler crackers eight hundred number requesting information regarding their ingredients.

I was told by one of the operators at customer service that the item I was inquiring about was not listed under “vegetarian suitable”. And that they did not have any further knowledge other than what was included on the label.

I am very aware that some products have hidden ingredients that are not listed on the contents label. Usually a company will have more detailed information that they are able to look up or acquire.

When I did not get a satisfied answer I went to the Keebler website and sent a “contact us” email, it took about a week before I got back a response and that was understandable.

I believe that was a reasonable amount of time for me to have waited, considering how busy their schedules may have been and considering the other consumer inquiries that they may have had to answer.

Upon receiving my email I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I was sent a professional well thought out message that specifically gave me the answers that I had wanted and more.

This was how everything went:

Turn Me Inside Out

My healthy and vegetarian lifestyle:

I became a vegetarian at the age of fourteen. And back then when I started out I was a very strict one, only eating fruits, vegetables and grains and just drinking water.

At the age of nineteen I began to return back only to fish/shrimp, poultry and dairy products. I absolutely sustained from any type of red meat or pork.

I am thirty seven-years old now and am still happily carrying on with my extremely healthy lifestyle.

I don’t eat just anything. I refuse to put any sort of garbage inside of my body. In attaining certain foods I always examine the product and check out the ingredients. I’ll even do some research on the company in which particular items are processed from.

I am very careful about the cheeses that I eat as some are made with pig enzymes. The “boar’s head” brand cheeses are suitable for vegetarians and are high in quality. I love the American and Swiss flavors. I also love and eat their pepper turkey and roasted chicken.

“Perdue” is another quality source product. I like that the chicken is packed pretty clean as there is not much messy slime to rinse and wash off. And their chickens are fed vegetarian diets and proteins. So not only after cooking does Perdue make for a delicious meal but an honest one. You don’t have to worry about no animal by-products hormones or steroids.

When it comes to my ice cream “haagen dazs” definitely does it for me. Vanilla and butter pecan are my favorite flavors. Not only does the brand have such a delicious distinct taste compared to other ice creams out on the market but the ingredients are to die for-purely natural.

I love “near east” and “uncle ben’s” brand rices. They are both very vegetarian suitable, very high in quality and are also delicious in taste.

I do not eat any type of breads which contain mono diglycerides. My one and only favorite purely natural bread is made by “nature’s pride”, specifically the honey wheat and whole wheat flavors.

I could sit here all day acknowledging and explaining my favorite brands of foods and why I like them so much since I am so particular about a lot of things, however, I will move on now with all of the benefits that comes along from watching what we eat.

Lemonade is one of my favorite drinks and fresh pineapples are one of my favorite fruits. I only drink juices that are 100% natural and fruits that are fresh. And I love salads, and so on.

I also take the finest quality vitamins.

A lot does have to do with our genetic make up and metabolism but I am in the best of health and shape.

I am very youthful in appearance. I have the body of a young teenager, and I feel just great.

By eating right we constantly and continuously rejuvenate ourselves. Our cells function more properly, we heal better and faster, and we look better.

How we treat ourselves on the inside compliments us on the outside.

The vitamins and minerals that we consume actually can and do cure certain body ailments if we maintain excellent eating habits.

We are still able to enjoy and love our sweets. Just make sure that they are healthy wholesome and beneficial sweets. “nature’s valley” brand has great crunchy granola bars. I love the maple and peanut butter flavors. I eat oatmeal raisin cookies and yellow cakes and coffee cakes, I just make sure that the ingredients coincide with what I prefer to intake.

Chocolate and coca cola is something the doctor told me to stay away from as a very young child due to the fact that they gave me terrible unbearable stomach aches, so no chocolate cakes cookies or candy bars for me! And I haven’t drunk a soda in years; there is no real nutritional value in them any way.

So to wrap it up, living healthy attributes to being wealthy incredibly rich with the excellent rewards of a lifestyle that is dedicated to loving one self and treating oneself right with the ultimate respect.

Fruits Of Life

“Good eating” pertains to more than just a physical nourishment and source of energy that contributes to good health and longevity.

A healthy constitution involves and caters to the mind and spirit as well as the body when one is living a salutary lifestyle.

I have a natural course of drive and determination that has followed me all through out my life. And my innate hunger for liberty, selection, and flourishing-is non stop and inevitable.

I love to eat food. Not just any kind of food but good food. I was brought up on eating the best of things from a very young age.

I tend to eat things that are delicious yet at the same time very healthy. It is said that the things that taste the nastiest are the best things for us health wise, and that is very true. However, there are plenty of edibles that we can consume that attribute great taste along with essential benefits.

Let’s take fresh fruits for one. The “granny smith” green apples, watermelons (also honey dew and cantaloupe), pineapples, oranges, grapes, cherries, strawberries, plums, peaches, pears and bananas are great tasting and very nutritious.

Eating good also makes you feel and look good. I have tremendous energy, and my body glows with youth.

When one constantly intakes vital nutrients the body returns the favor by cleansing and detoxifying, resulting in regularity and better circulation and rejuvenation of cells.

Nothing is perfect, though; excellent lifestyle choices are the definite starts to building satisfying eating habits, and ones that will always bring back great rewards.

And all of those examples work out just the same when it comes to maintaining the proper functionality of one’s mind and spirit.

In my particular case, environment is vital. The “body” cover in which holds mind and spirit:

Having a clean and peaceful surrounding free from contamination (negativity, polluted people and etc.) and disturbance (energy disrupts, social commotions and etc.).

The internal “flesh” that engulf mind and spirit when it is and becomes nourished:

Having the things that I want and things that go my way for significant reasons one does not necessarily have to go through nasty and distasteful ordeals in order to gain strength or to further build character.

Sweet and delightful modes of pleasure can be just as effective an intense in means of fortifying resilience and structure of disposition.

In fact, happiness is the key and serves a far more greater purpose than what comes along to make us unhappy. I for a very long time have noticed that if there is something in life that I do not want or do not want to do, then it absolutely will not work out favorably.

There is nothing wrong with getting everything that one wants if it is in their best interest and they are able to get it. There is a big difference between being “properly spoiled” and having an arrogant sense of “entitlement”.

The love and spoiling in which I received contributed to my self confidence (self sufficiency, security within myself) and independence. I am very stubborn to do for myself and to work for what I want on my own rather than to get and take from others. However, I can accept a gift (token of appreciation or nice gesture) of kindness from someone yet it does not bring me a needed gratification.

When mind and spirit is attentively and thoroughly taken care of through the special quality natural nutrients (ingredients including earth, water, fire and air) that it deserves and needs they consistently revitalize and in return sustain us altogether within any and all ailments and affliction.

The ultimate rewards promote the enjoyment of salutary habits, again igniting the cycle of continuity and ultimately extinguishing the causes of impediments.
